Secrets For Stress-Free Living (Part 2 of 4)

Please read the wonderful first part.

Continuation:

Happiness is your meta-experience when thinking about something that brings you such pleasure. Happiness cannot be experienced by the senses directly, only pleasure can.

Focus your life on having more now-moment pleasure experiences, rather than accumulating reasons or things to be happy about.

Stay connected to source

Find your own personal way to stay connected to your higher consciousness (the feeling you). For many this is meditation, music, song, etc. Why are we so attracted to parks? water? nature? wildlife and animals? We have awareness on some level that we are part of a much greater collected consciousness, something else, something higher than us.

Some people may be partially disconnected from it, but you can never fully disconnect from it. Notice that the word emotion is e + motion. Notice the connections of levels even on a linguistic level. Did you know that elephants are one of the very few creatures other than humans who cry tears of emotion? And when was the last time you saw an elephant running?

They adapt or has the ability to release emotions from tears in the same way humans do. People are attracted to source because we recognize that’s where we want to be. We want to have those feelings, we want to experience that energy. Energy, just by being in its presence, makes us feel better about ourselves.

Live in the moment

We only have access to our full personal power in the present moment. This is practicing the art; it’s a habit to be developed, a life-skill. The extent, to which you are connecting, on some unconscious level, either into the past or into the future, is the extent to which you rob yourself of your present power.

You are not going to be experiencing what it is that you want; therefore you are moving your emotional point of attraction, into negative territory.

Secrets For Stress-Free Living (Part 1 of 4)

Secrets for a stress-free living is not a secret after all. We only need to reflect and talk to ourselves.

Below are some of the things to ponder:

Accept the problem

Be at peace with a current problem, for the solution to come to you. You have to accept yourself where you are, no matter what. We cannot solve any problem without first accepting it. We spend so much of our time trying to deny what has happened or deny a part of ourselves. Pushing it away, which only leads to more of the problem appearing in your life.

More often than not, accepting the part of you that is creating the problem solves half the problem. Part of you is trying to send you a message. Maybe it’s time you listen.

You cannot attract to you, that to which you are not already connected

So be an appreciator. One of the fastest ways to attract what you want towards you is learning to appreciate the good. Whatever situation life is presenting you with. Being an appreciator is so important because it is the closest energetic vibrational match to source. Therefore the creation of what it is that you want.

The more you operate at that frequency, the closer to source you are. This will make things faster to manifest for you in the physical world. It is not important to verbalize your appreciation but simply to offer it.

Appreciation is the antidote to some of the lowest forms of energy and emotions we are capable of shame, resentment, etc. By offering thanks and assuming that you already have what you seek, you immediately begin to attract more of it towards you, whether you have any of it or not.

Happiness is not pleasure

The experience of pleasure is a right now, in-the-moment, sensory-rich, and sights, sounds, and feelings experience in your person.

Your Powerful Imagination (Part 2 of 2)

Please read the first part.

Continuation:

Okay, ready for the test? Gather all of your strength and “willpower.” Be sure NOT to do the following. Here it comes … DON’T think of a red fire truck!!

What happened?

You automatically thought of a red fire truck, right? This is because when the “will” and the “imagination” are in conflict, the imagination always wins. Most people spend a great deal of time telling themselves what they DON’T want, instead of what they DO want.

Even with every ounce of willpower they can muster, they somehow end up with more of the same old thing. That’s because the mind works in pictures, not words.

Imagination is the secret ingredient of life. If people imagine themselves “rich,” regardless of the amount of money they have, chances are they will be healthy and strong and live an abundant life.

If a rich man imagines himself poor or on the brink of losing his fortune, it is likely that trouble and sickness will plague him to the grave.

All that we are searching for in life is already present within ourselves. The sooner we come to believe in the power of our own imagination, the easier our lives will become. I challenge you to stretch your mind to the possibility of accomplishment beyond your present aspirations.

What if, in an attempt to reach your goals, you awakened the powerful latent genius within? How would you feel if you found the cure for AIDS or cancer? Think of the people who would benefit from your achievement.

The reality is that until everyone on the planet imagines a world of health and vitality for all, there will always be disease and woe. Take charge of your life now. Imagine your way to health and happiness and it will be so.

Self-appreciation: The Key To Living A Life Of Joy (Part 2 of 2)

Do not missed out the First Part.

In the final analysis, as the Dalai Lama states, “The purpose of our lives is to be happy.”  Happiness in my mind equates with joy. The joy, without which all other joy is diminished, is joy in one’s self.”

Self-pride and self-joy are as vital to the individual as are air and water.  Self-appreciation is the cornerstone in determining one’s health, one’s success, and one’s abundance and prosperity in both our public and our private lives.

Practical Steps to Self-appreciation

  1. Declare your uniqueness. There will never be another you; another who is exactly like you; another who will make a contribution to the planet in exactly the way that you do.
  2. Look for the things you like about yourself. Write them down and then focus on one thing a day, e.g. ‘I am competent’ or ‘I am creative’ or ‘I am now creating my ideal life.’
  3. Forgive yourself. The past is over; know that you were doing the best you could with your level of knowledge and understanding at that time.
  4. Use affirmations to remind yourself of your sacredness. Put them on the fridge, mirrors, wherever, to remind yourself that you are unique. For example, ‘I like and appreciate myself,’ ‘I am a lovable, valuable person and deserve the best life has to offer.’
  5. Read books that inspire you. Books such as daily meditations, thoughts for the day, sayings and quotations from inspirational leaders set the tone for creating an attitude of joy and/or peace before you start your day.
  6. Practice an ‘attitude of gratitude.’ We have created much to be thankful for, our health, our abundance, and our freedoms. Carry a small notebook with you and write down everything that you are grateful for all day long. You will be amazed at all the blessings in your life – your friends, your family, your job, your warm home, the fact that you don’t have to worry about stepping on landmines or getting your head blown off as you step out a door.
  7. Be true to yourself. Live the life you have envisioned for yourself.  Don’t look to others for approval; look within, and you will find it all.

Are We Happy?

Before you sleep tonight, ask yourself that are you happy? What is your true calling? Think for a moment and the results will still probably surprise you. In the race to move, ahead in life you have neglected your inner self. You are juggling so many things at once that you have no time to interact with yourself.

You may possess all the ingredients that make you socially successful. However, there is hollowness and emptiness in your life that does not allow you to enjoy life. A spiritual deficit engulfs you because of which you do not have peace and serenity of mind.

You spend money and time and travel to distant places to discover the peace of mind. However, the truth is that no one can provide you calmness of mind, the key to controlled mind lies within you.

You seemed to have exchanged your life and true happiness with materialistic accumulations. A person who possesses latest gadget and has designer wardrobes is socially considered successful.

An individual today has postponed his living, his priorities includes a high package job, latest car and mobile. However, the irony of your life is that he may own the latest phone but has no time to talk to his family members.

You are so busy in your life that with each passing day you are getting trapped and losing on the moments that could provide you true happiness.

You can simplify and add happiness to your life by adopting some techniques. It will improve the quality of your life and provide you peace of mind. Start appreciating the beautiful gifts of nature like rainfall, blooming flowers, sunrise and sunset.

Observing them will give you a sense of calmness and you will fell happier. Happiness lies in these little things of life.

Stars, dew studded flowers and different shapes of moon teach you a very important and basic lesson in life that nothing stays forever. It is advisable that you learn the lessons from the past and then move ahead.

Always focus on your present keeping future in mind. Oscillating between past and present leaves no time to focus on the present.
