Rejections and Anger (Part 2 of 2)

Rejections and Anger (Part 1 of 2)

There must be reasons

For example, if you are married, you enjoy going to the bar to chat with your friends. And then your husband does not want you to go, and then think why he said no?

Obviously, your husband cares about you since he knows that danger is potentially high at bars. He does not want you to get hurt therefore, he is saying no in your best interest.

If the bank turns you down on a loan there is a legit reason. Maybe your credit report needs some repairing, or maybe they felt you income would not cover the loan amount.

Therefore, your best interest was at heart again. We all hear no throughout our lifetime and most times, it is for the best reasons.

If you apply for a job and are turned down, it might be in your best interest. Since the employers felt that your skills were not on the level that the job required of you.

Alternatively, you may be over qualified for the job and when you are rejected. Maybe the employers are merely saying we do not have the cash to pay you for what you are worth. Thinking positive is always great for managing anger.

Do not get too emotional

If you are prompt to explode when your emotions are interrupted then it is difficult to manage your life. If you are angry most likely, all areas of your life seem like an uphill travel.

When you gain control this often benefits everyone, including yourself. Your life starts to improve and your mind is thanking you for removing stress from its cavity.

If you are prone to beat yourself up when rejections come your way, you might want to find a positive side of your being and enforce it in your mind repeatedly.

Practice, practice, practice

Practice makes perfect. This is a great way to train your mind so that you gain control of your mind and anger. If you are frustrated easily, it is probably because you do not take time out of a day for yourself to relax.

There is nothing wrong with relaxing. Therefore you can sit down for 30 minutes each day and yoga or think of nothing at all.

Finally, we are closing so I wanted to let you know that once you practice the strategies for dealing with anger, pat yourself on the back each time you make effort and achieve.

The Power Of Laughter

The power of laughter

Laughing has tremendous power. Not only can it make you feel joyous and put others at ease but did you know that it can also heal?

Did you realize that laughter can heal?

The experience of laughing has been proven to be an extremely potent tool for self healing. If you have watched the film “The Secret” then you will have seen a very good example of this.

A woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer laughed herself back to health. She watched funny shows and wouldn’t allow any stress into her life. At the end of three months the cancer had totally disappeared!

Why and how did this happen? Is it really possible to laugh your way back from sickness to health?

Well it has been observed by the medical profession that when you laugh, there are certain chemicals released in your body that relax you and allow your body to do what it does best – repair itself!

If you allow stress take over

However, when you allow stress to take over and live your life from a very serious standpoint your body does not release these highly beneficial chemicals, your muscles tense and even natural bodily functions like digestion become harder for your body to regulate.

As your body has to try that much harder to regulate your normal functions it takes its toil and aging can occur.

So if you try to see the funny side of things in life (and there always is one) you are actually helping yourself stay healthy and young. Using humor is not just great for your physical health.

It can also keep you healthy emotionally and mentally. The best way top stay happy and humorous is to redirect your focus and thus change your perception of things.

If you constantly dwell on feelings of negativity you are not allowing yourself to see the humorous side of life and are robbing your body of much needed chemicals and a state of relaxation.

Here are some hints if you want to take advantage of the positive effects of humor

  1. Do things that you really enjoy and find funny.
  2. Watch comedies that make you laugh.
  3. Read a magazine or funny book.
  4. Repeat the jokes you like to friends and family. Their laughter will have you laughing again.
  5. Share funny stories that have happened to you.
  6. Seek out the company of people you find funny.
  7. Ask friends and family to tell you about their funny experiences.

You should to have a good belly laugh at least once a day. Why not laugh your way to a healthy youthful body?

person showing emotions

Emotions

Emotion is no longer a dirty word

When I tell some people that we perceive and communicate emotionally and then give logical reasons for it, they are quick to deny it. However, salespeople know this to be true. Emotion is no longer a dirty word.

They learn that people buy for emotional reasons and then rationalize the purchase. Showing someone why he or she needs the item or service will not get you as far as showing him or her why he or she wants it.

The same semantics’ happen with perceptions and communication. When we look at the physiology of perceptions, we learn that our clearest memories are ones that have an emotional context to it.

The is a reason. Anything that is highly emotional will come through the amygdala in our brain. Whether it is from fear or love, anxiety or excitement.

Other sensory information will come directly from the brain stem to the hippocampus. And a more select version will come from the cortex.

So whether it was a happy memory (weddings, special vacation, birth of a child), or a sad memory (death, injury), we hold clear details of what we were doing at the time.

Many people fight hearing this because “emotional” was considered a dirty word for a long time. This group still relates to the old meaning. To them it is about being out of control, or even weak and unstable.

Emotion, the new definition

Most people are coming around and seeing it in a new light and as a word that can help them. Those who follow Meta or Quantum physics understand the importance of this word.

How it is part of the secret, which many successful people are using to acquire what they want in life.

We are taught that clear thought and communication with ourselves, combined with feeling or strong emotional desire, is the path to achieving our dreams and desires.

That everything starts with a thought and then the feeling or the emotion brings it into fruition. It is the half of the equation that many people are missing due to their dislike of the word.

But what if you looked at emotion in a new light? What if you saw it as your strength? And what if you saw it as a tool for all you wish to achieve?

The Truth About Hypnosis (Part 3 of 4)

Learn the truth about Hypnosis. Read the first two parts of the articles below:

The Truth About Hypnosis (Part 2 of 4)

You just need a comfortable chair, couch or bed, a willingness to relax. Then let-go! Listen to a trained professional or professional recording.

You are always in control of yourself before, during and after a hypnosis session. If you are a particularly “good subject” you may forget the experience afterwards. But during the hypnosis session you are always aware of what is happening!

You cannot be made to do nor say anything that is against your moral or ethical codes. It never matter what Hollywood may tell you in “The Manchurian Candidate“!

You will be able to hear everything around you. Thus, you are also aware of everything that is happening around you. There are many people who actually become very sensitive to their environment.

Their 5 senses become heightened and they are even more aware of the smallest of details while in trance. Of course you go back to normal upon “wakening”.

The vast majority of people remember everything the therapist told them when the hypnosis session is over. In fact it’s a pretty good bet to say that everyone who reads this article will be in that group.

What a hypnotherapist do

It is the job of a hypnotherapist to make you feel comfortable before, during and after a session. If, at anytime, you feel uncomfortable with what the therapist is doing or saying tell them to stop!

To get the most from any hypnosis session you must be able to relate to the hypnotherapist and trust them. For this reason all reputable hypnosis professionals give a free consultation before you ever enter a trance state.

Seek out a hypnotist you feel comfortable with. The one who makes you feel that they can get the results that you are looking for. After all you are in charge!

It is a great tool

Hypnosis is merely a tool. It is a highly effective method for producing inner change that is permanent. I understand that some religions forbid their followers to take part in anything that may cause them to lose control of their mental, emotional and conscious functions.

Instinct Develops With Age (Part 2 of 2)

They find it much easier to see pros and cons visually. So when deciding which new car ‘wins’, write a time-limited brainstorm.

Setting yourself just 10 minutes of writing down the essential ‘fors’ and ’against’ will focus your mind and lead to a better decision.

Road-Test Your Rationale

With bigger decisions, like whether to buy a house that you love, has money-pit potential. It’s good to combine instinct with some nuts-and-bolts back-up .

This has big consequences and it’s likely to be something you’ve done too many times before. Because it’s unfamiliar, it’s likely your instinct won’t be a good guide.

If it feels like somewhere you’ll be happy, test out your intuition with a practical steps. It maybe drawing up a list of which features matter most to you. No matter whether it ticks enough most to you. Or it ticks enough practical as well as emotional.

The Two-Minute Face Saver

The snap decision we often get wrong is what kind of ‘advice’ to let tumble from our unzipped lips. So take the two-minute offence test.

A colleague presenting a flawed project, or a friend wearing a fright of an outfit. You will find it there’s a good test of whether it’s right to chime in with device .

If you feel your sentence should start with,’ I know I shouldn’t say this, but..’ then your gut is telling you to keep shut. So do.

Fake Complete Confidence

Knowing how to use your instincts at work means understanding the kind of person you are.

Are you letting worry get in the way? Optimists will just give something a go and assume it’ll be all right. Pessimists think being right is more important then the outcome.

We tend to think getting something absolutely right is more important than it really is. So in a meeting or when directing stuff, it’s often more important to simply take a decision and work with it than foster an atmosphere of uncertainty where no one can get on.

If you trust instincts, so will they.
